Good Turnout for Holiday Run

Tuesday 27th December saw a group of nearly 30 runners assembling at the Field of Remembrance for a morning run around Windlesham and over to the Windlesham Arboretum. What nice places we have to run in this area!
A quick nip through the churchyard, along Rectory Lane, and we were soon crossing the M3 via the footbridge - which turned out to be surprisingly bouncy with 20-odd people running across it together, causing a few shrieks and oo-ers.
The footbridge leads straight into the Arbotetum. A few circuits later and we had seen most of the place, which according to Wikipedia has "22,000 mature and rare trees, lakes, monuments, follies and a chapel". Those wanting to know more about the Arboretum, click here
