Come and race next week - from Tony Sheridan

I am just trying to round up a few bods to participate in a New Year race that will be held in Great Windsor Park  on the 8^th January

As in the past, we usually join up with our friends from Woking Athletic Club who run under the name of “Magic”

It is run as a MABAC Cross Country League event and has a large following. This park run will be managed by Runnymede Runners

It is an 8 mile race and can be a bit hilly, so not for the faint hearted!

The idea is to beat your own age in minutes so a good challenge for the New Year

There is no fee and it will be run on the road. The start time is 1100 hrs

Take some pins along for your Race Number

The event start and finish is located about 800m from Blacknest Gate just past the first bridge
